About

Hello! My name is Vitoria and I am the founder of YES.
I'm 18 years old, a freshman at Rice University, and have wanted to pursue architecture for as long as I can remember. I am also an artist at heart. In 2020, I was shortlisted for the Hong Kong Human Rights Arts Prize for my work Do You Hear The People?, a painting about the HK protests.
Aside from art and architecture, I am passionate about giving back to the community and making change. I believe in reducing inequality, improving education, and, most importantly, creating a sustainable, innovative world for a better future.
Youth for Experimental Space is an online platform dedicated to bringing together youths in architecture and design and giving exposure to youth projects. With YES, I hope to share my vision for an improved future and inspire others to create change through architecture.
